It will be fine. Lots of aluminum boats remain unpainted during there entire life. Electrolysis is the biggest concern for aluminum boats regarding water. Key to this is sacrificial anodes and keeping the boat clean. If you are running the boat in saltwater just make sure you swab the decks when you pull her out. Enjoy the fishing.
I like Blewitup think you will be fine, just use a good grease cutter and cleaner before you paint, might have to touch up any shiny spots to put the tooth back into it.
abso-lutely! no way do you have to wait for paint before fishing. the aluminum doesn’t need the paint to protect it from water.
