Why hasn’t there been a war over all the international copyright laws that china openly disobeys?

this is not just a problem in the USA… This is effecting the whole world. The wealthy factory owners in USA moved many facilities to China in the 80s. China has become the biggest industrialized nation in the world. Heres exactly what they have done… Lets say I have a factory that builds anchors for sailboats. They are speacially designed and normally very expensive to where most sailors will but a different anchor. Then, I decide to go to china to make the same anchor cheaper. Knowing that my design is better, if i can make it cheaper then ultimately I can make a larger consumer base. However, once i get there… Three years later I see that someone is building the exact same design as me. Low and behold, its the same, poor, starving, desparate people I took pride in hiring to make my product because i felt i was doing them a good deed. Yet, someone from the chinese came into the factory, copied blueprints of the machines that make my anchors, and went and made a second factory thats even cheaper yet. Driving me out of business and now a chinese businessman is the only supplier of the product that belonged to me.

Tehy ignore copyright and many times even trademarks. They sell nokia phones that arent made by nokia. they sell nikes that arent made by nike. So, now that china is + 3 trillion dollars from screwing the world, wouldnt we have some right to sew them for the portion that rightfully belongs to US?

I just want your opinions here, and if i am misinformed about something regarding copyright please correct me.
if you cant trust this country to properly handle the worlds economy, then why the hell did we give it to them? They call themselves good business men, and tho i even like the humility of the average Chinese citizen, and admire many of their personality traits, I think they are better plotters, than business men. A good plot is not necessarily a good business. They got everything they have through dishonesty, and we can not keep giving them everything the world owns because they are not very good in terms with socialism.
Nice answer lizuoh, I expect things to change. The Chinese seam good at saving money. Japanese tried to do the same to USA in the 50s, but when the japanese economy rised they also paid their workers better which is what i thin led to the collapse of the stock market in their erra. China doesn’t raise the wages of employers at all it seams, so they have been better at building a national surplus. I don’t think chinese are evil or anything, but really. When america was first discovered, There was a lot of natural recourses. There hasn’t been 1,000s of years of civilization to eat it all up. We will always be the leading supplier of iron and other metals because we have more than we can consume. The question is written harshly because it gets better answers. Chinese are the best philosophers and many r very wise. The large population of these types of people give them an edge. However, the world depended on a few concepts that they have ignored. I just hope to make peple thnk bout it mor

Because there are solutions through the International court system. ~

What you are calling dishonesty is more of a culture difference. The idea of intellectual property is somewhat alien to many Chinese – for them knowledge is public property and this includes what we regard as copyright material. The position is changing and the notion of IP is becoming more accepted. China’’s entry into the WTO and other commercial pressures is making them rethink, but it takes time.

The idea of going to war about it is ridiculous. We have international courts and diplomats to deal with such things.
