I realize that the one about the man dying on a cross, coming back to life a couple of days later, visiting with some friends, and then floating up into the sky is the most popular. But, what are the other fairy tales in the Bible that people like the most?
My personal favorite is the one about the drunkard who builds a big wooden boat and then crams two of every kind of animal and his family onto it just before the Earth is swallowed whole by water. It kind of says it all, you know?

I like the drunk guy and the boat.
you REALLY need a life.
The one where the “righteous Lot” impregnates his two daughters.
The Bible is a book of history, not fairy tales.
I like the incestuous ones.
I like the one where Ceiling Cat sacrifices his one and only Kitteh to forgive us of teh original sin.
The guy that was in the fish belly for days and lived lol.
The great flood and Noah’s ark, which was adapted from the Mesopotamian tale of Gilgamesh.
Jesus’ birth which was adapted from the Persian religion birth of Mithra.
Jesus’ death which was adapted from the death of the Egyptian god Horus.
FYI, there are no fairy tales in the Holy Bible. I’ve read it practically from end to end and have never encountered a fairy.
I like the one where Goliath gets stoned. The Bible is pro-marijuana.
Revelations 12:1-9 The dragon will enter heaven and wage war with the angel!
It is a classic fairy tale from a magical world.
I like the one where God sends the bear for maul the kids for poking fun at the bald guy.
Perhaps you could read some actual fairy tales
instead of barking at the moon in this futile pastime.
First of all you should not drink and operate a boat – it is dangerous. Keeping with the nautical theme, I like the fairy tale about Moses and the sea parting. It is either that one or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and how they begat a whole world. .
where do you find that Noah was a drunk? where do you find these things in fairy tale books?
without truth there is no heart for understanding, knowledge and wisdom in the word and way of God. men in that state do not have eyes to see and ears to hear, only the ego that becomes their undoing. what one finds laughable about God and sets to ridicule does not go undisciplined by Him.
when your body is sick and you are wracking in pain, then would you call on Him? will He hear and help you or heal you, or would this be something that could not be healed? All souls belong to Him, whether it is acknowledged by the individual or not. Seek grace and mercy while the blood runs warm in your veins. everyone has a reckoning day, it is about truth, what will be your outcome? will you continue to run on everyday until it is too late and you refused to see the light shining up on the hill? that is where you can go to get your spirit cup filled. try now to see a long way down the road while you have breath and life.
you are gonna need someone on your side.
First, the smartypants answer: “There are no fairy tales in the Bible. ”
Second, the real answer: (It’s sort of like the first one, but more serious!). I think some of the most popular true stories in the Bible are David and Goliath, Jonah and the Whale, Adam and Eve, etc. There are many more less known stories of interest: the talking donkey, Lot handing over his daughter to a mob of homosexual men, etc. (Yes, those are really in there, too).
I’m curious why, specifically, you consider any of these stories untrue? A story like Spiderman, now that’s a made up story if I’ve ever heard one! Who told you that these were fairy tales? Have you read and considered that there is more proof that the Bible is accurate than any other book that exists in the world? That everything from archeology to science is adding to the mountain of evidence suggesting that the Bible is true? Just some things to think about.
Thanks for the question.
Christopher
Say it is a fairy tale I guess I wouldn’t be any worse off, but when you find out it is true were does that leave you? Best be finding the truth, you will know when you have found it.
Proverbs 3:1-35
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
A Christian will tell you none, there are no fairy tales in the bible, only truth.
I will tell you none, there are no fairy tales in the bible since none of the stories contain fairies
I like the one where Frodo and Samwise bring the One Ring back to Mount Doom.
