I want to travel alot, but not be restricted to a boat. I want to work with electronics and be outside. What Navy job would be a good fit for me based on those standards? However I dont want to go into the construction field. Please list some MOSs that will be good for me and explain what they do thank you! Any is good thank you
Join the Marines. You ain’t suited for the Navy, and its okay, not everyone is. The Marines aren’t restricted to the boat and do stuff outside the wire. Research it to find out more.
(Btw: The Navy doesn’t have MOSs, they are called rates. Means you also need to do more research!)
They dont have electronics outside if you arent in construction. You have to choose one or the other, either electronics and work inside the boat all day with no outside air possibly being in a submarine or working on the deck as the people who launch the planes or air traffic control, they arent outside but they have the 360 degree view. And of course the best option is to go talk to a navy recruiter, they do want to help you, because a happy person is a better worker and they know that.
your desires are mutally exclusive:
can’t be in the Navy and not spend considerable time at sea.
can’t work with sensitve equipment and be outdoors. the computers won’t stand for it.
besides Navy doesn’t have MOS. they have Ratings.
