Which boat hull design would have the least drag: the catamaran, tri-hull, vee bottom, or a tunnel vee?

They all have the same dimensions/sizes.
i just need some more info for my science project. if you guys know sites that i can do my research on about boat hulls and drag force, i would like to know. THANKS!

  1. J M says:

vee hull, one hull=less drag, multi hull=more drag. . .

  2. linlyons says:

J M is right, however, you need to separate displacement from planing hulls.

    IE speed makes a difference.
