What was the wooden structure in the water near the old Cooper River bridge?

Does anyone remember that wooden (I’m assuming) structure that looked like the hull of a beached, rotted boat that was always sticking out from the shore of the Mount Pleasant side of the old bridge? I always remember seeing it when spotting the Yorktown from the bridge, but I never knew what it was.

I remember seeing it too! I know its really old but I don’t know what its from or what its made of. I dont think you can see it anymore going over the new bridge.
