i know about the giant statuies and that they drove their cizilization into the ground by using up all the resources to move and build these statues
but what was the name of the people?
what time period did they live there?
were they using the outrigger canoe?
I don’t know what the ancient people of Easter Island called themselves, but I know that the current natives call their island
Rapa Nui, and that the famous sculpted heads are called Moai.
