WW2 had no effect at home, either on indusrty or people. everything went as it was before the war. there was no cloathing shortage, and tom macan made the boat shoe, which people who worked on combat boats wore. iot was hard to find a good oinon though, so we had to buy those big yellow onions. other than that nothing changed.
Whilst the men were at war, women did their jobs to keep industry going. Women also joined the ‘land army’ and worked (hard) on farms to produce crops for food. There were shortages and in the UK people had ration cards to present to shopkeepers to ensure they didn’t get more than the Government had decided they were entitled to. There was of course a thriving black market in rationed goods which could be bought if you could afford them. You obviously have a PC and Internet access – the best research tools ever. As the first answer-er said 11 points for doing your homework? Nein danke.
all authentic details go to googl or wilkepedia
well, the women at home farmed, worked and did other stuff that men usually do. They Converted many factories that build stuff that you don’t need ( such as toys) to build weapons, tanks, airplanes and other military supplies. This also boosted the economy , because before the war was the great depression, now, almost everyone could make a living working in factories. American patritism also rose a bit.
hope that helps
