What are some good things to do in New York, NY?

We are going on a vacation to New York tomorrow and I was wondering if any of you have any good things to do. We are already planning on seeing the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, The world trade center, the Empire State building, St. Patricks cathedral, Riding on the Subway. But that’s about all we have. So tell me if you have anything you think would be good to see or be interesting. And I have another question-Can you see the Statue of Liberty without going out on a boat? Because I want to see it but I really don’t want to go on a boat if I don’t have to. Thank you all. :)

i Think boat is the only way sorry :( , except if you dont mind seeing it from far away. . you must see time square and chinatown. . btw world trade center is ground zero now, not much to see anyway. . well have fun

You should try the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). You might also like to visit Washington Square Park and tour around the Village a little bit. And as far as I know, the only access to Ellis Island (where the Statue of Liberty is located) for tourists is by ferry.

i can understand you wanting to see all the well known attractions, mind you they’ll be crowded, but it might all get a little boring.
    i suggest you going to
-ripleys believe or not (have some fun)
-the moma (make sure you visit their gift shop!!)
-time square of course (and all the shops and restaurants there)
-FAO schwarz (the best toy store in the world, you don’t have to have kids to appreciated it, it’s literally magical)
-rockerfield center (eat at the cafe there for lunch, it will prbably be expensive but it’s high up so you can see the whole of nyc)
-visit brighton beach (unless you’re used to beaches where you’re from, it’s an eccentric little place)

    have fun!

The USS Intrepid Air and Space Museum. It’s an old aircraft carrier docked on the west side of Manhattan Island.

You can do a lot of things in the city if you have time and money. Just explore the place or search in the internet.
