U-boat is a high-end watch brand that was established by the Italian watch maker, Italo Fontana. The U-boat watch was going to be made in the early 1940 when the grandfather of Italo, Ilvo Fontana, a famous watch maker, was required to produce a timepiece for the officers of the Italian Navy. Until 2000 when Italo Fontana took charge of the company, the sketches and designs are changed into the entities. Thus, U-boat watches are launched.
