I am building a pontoon boat out of a 1988 Bronco II on 20′ pontoons. I am using a gear system for driving dual props. But I am having trouble devising a steering system. The pontoons are spaced wide enough that I could attach “steering boards” to the wheel hubs. But I am trying to look for a few other ideas first. any help would be appreciated.
Are you using the same steering that was in the Bronco? I guess I’m trying to picture how your Bronco Pontoon Boat will look after it is completed. Is your steering end of the Bronco facing the rear of the Pontoon?
