Well, there’s a few different classes of things being taught in Sunday School: moral claims, historical claims, and supernatural claims.
The supernatural ones are almost certainly crap. The historical ones are largely crap. And the moral ones you can decide for yourself about.
Those who know God have experienced the fact of his presence; such God-knowing mortals hold in their personal experience the only positive proof of the existence of the living God which one human being can offer to another. The existence of God is utterly beyond all possibility of demonstration except for the contact between the God-consciousness of the human mind and the God-presence of the Thought Adjuster that indwells the mortal intellect and is bestowed upon man as the free gift of the Universal Father.

With God nothing is impossible. Why would you worry about what others think? The Bible is only foolish to those who don’t believe and God would never call us idiots for believing his word. All people did not listen to Jesus back then and they are still not listening today mostly because Satan has deceived the hearts of many and their hearts have waxed cold. The things you learned in Sunday School were not false, some were parables, Jesus often taught in parables. We are walking Bibles if we live for Christ we set an example for the world to see, it is not your responsibility to make people believe. One plants a seed, one waters the seed, but only God can give the increase and allow someone to grow to the knowledge of the truth. My Pastor teaches us that Sunday School is the “hot bed” of the church, many get their foundation in Sunday School because there is more room for discussion and to learn. Don’t let Satan deceive you. Don’t try to do what Jesus did, like walk on water, you are just a vessel or chanel for him to work and speak through, he is the miracle worker. Things will work for you by faith if you believe, but without faith it is impossible to please him. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, try seeking God for the answer to your questions, if you really want to know he is real.
