Lobbying for USS Iowa by rival Vallejo, Los Angeles-based groups heats up
Tuesday proved to be a big day for two groups competing against one another for the World War II USS Iowa battleship.The Pacific Battleship Center held a reception with lawmakers in Washington, D.C., and also a reception at the Port of Los Angeles.
