I am going out on a boat this weekend forabout 4 hours. I am supposed to pay for gas used. How much $?

The boat is a 25 footer and we are going out on lake michigan. I don’t plan on riding the throttle the whole time, but some cruising. How much do you think the gas will cost?

Really, if you have to ask the cost, you probably don’t want to spend the money.

at least $100. probably around $150

Engine type would help, but my guesstimate is in the neighborhood of $80 to $120 depending on engine size.

I would assume that would depend on a few factors, such as the cost of gas up there, as well as the fuel efficiency and tank capacity and type of boat being used. Either way, you are looking at at least $125+. Be prepared to spend more than that though, you would not want to look like a weenie by not pulling your side of the deal after all. ;) If it is less–well yay for you!

    P. S. Have fun! I can’t wait until we can enjoy Lake Michigan on a daily basis as well–we are moving to Sheboygan.
