i am building a 15′ boat and trying to figure out the best position and size for a live well..any suggestions?

i thought about puttin it on the side, but depending on the size it needs to be it might take up too much space. Then i thought i could put it back by the transom, makin it a seat/live well, but was not sure if that would be a good idea. i was just hopin some people could give me some suggestions or thoughts on the matter.

I would try the side if possible. If you get into the fish. It might get/be kind of risky to be up and down a lot.

Depending on what kind of fishing you’re going to be doing, look at the layouts of other boats. If it’s saltwater fishing your going to be doing a lot of, look at saltwater type boats. If it’s freshwater fishing you’ll be doing most, look at bass boats and deep V-hull styles.

It also depends on what type of boat you’ll be working with.
