i am planning on making a remote controlled boat by hand i need to know how to make the hull how to make the circut for the motor i have a fan motor with a minnature propeller i want the boat for a race i need it to go fast i would also like some ideas on makeing a toy gas boat.

The “fan motor” has to run off of batteries and so the batteries have to be included in the weight the boat will carry. More individual cells for higher voltage for faster speed A racing boat has a different hull shape than a boat that just cruises around looking good. The most critical mechanical feature is getting the propeller shaft out through the hull without having water leak in and the bulk of the motor gets involved in the angle of the shaft for it to be in line.
If you want truly remote control, so you can change direction and speed after you release it, then you will need to buy a servo and connections for the rudder, a power control module, and a transmitter with at least two channels to control the first two.
I would strongly recommend that either you start with a kit that you have to assemble if you want racing and practice or you build a cruiser so you understand the principles and don’t have to build to speed at first. The electronic parts can be reused in later boats.
Gas is a lot messier.
If you intend to race, presumably you mean against someone and I would suggest hooking up with people in your area who do it and learn from them or the stores that sell their equipment.
