   styrofoam or wood then paint it, try craft stores like michaels

   build it out of balsa wood. Paint it with an oil-based paint (oil-based paint seals the wood) use hot glue to seal the inside joints and to glue them together.

   Go down to the local arts & crafts store or toy store and purchase a Titanic model kit. Assemble it, paint it, and it should float.
