Traveler boat company put out boats in the 1980’s and then just stopped. Does anyone know anything about this company, their boats, why they stopped building boats, and are their boats good quality?
There was a company called ‘Arkansas Traveler Boat company owned by Southwest Manufacturing Co of Little Rock, Arkansas. The first aluminum boats I can remember were either Arkansas Traveler or Starcraft.

Many manufactures that closed shop did so because they could not produce a quality boat to compete with the costs of mass produced boats especially from overseas.
