So, this is an example of a FAILED security policy? Funny!
No. We have satellite phones and the internet to thank for the 9/11 bombings and most terrorist acts as well. Without this technology that allows communications, even in remote mountain caves (satellite phones) the terrorists would not be able to communicate at all and these coordinated attacks would not be possible. So the real solution to winning the war on terror is to take down the communications satellites. Once this is done, the terrorists can go back to huddling in their tents with their goats.

No. . . I seem to remember that it is not proper to blame the previous President for things in the current administration. President Obama has now been President the exact same amount of time as Bush when the 9/11 attack happened, and Republicans waste NO opportunity to criticize him for any hint of blaming the Bush administration for anything. . to quote MANY answers on here “when will Obama stop blaming Bush for (fill in the blank). . . Obama is president now. ”

The United States of America is not the World Police. We shouldn’t go about retaliating to every horrible act that happens around the globe. Saying that because he didn’t declare a “War on Terror” like Bush, Jr. after a Russian apartment bombing is one of the dumbest accusations I’ve ever heard.
Bush is the reason we got hit on 9/11. When the President takes most of his first year in office on vacation and declines to read the papers he is given and then shortly afterwards 5000+ citizens are killed by religious extremist terrorists, you cant really blame it on the previous president.

To blame him for the Cole’s lack of waryness would be the same as to blame Reagan for the Marine Corps barracks disaster in Lebanon.
