I want to buy a boat. I live in connecticut and i don’t know very much about buying boats. I plan on buying a boat from a private party and I don’t know what paper work I need. Do I need a boaters license if the boat is under a certain horsepower? and is it required to have insurance on the boat. I plan on just using this boat for fishing once or twice a week.
you only need to have it registered and you dont need a license
