I’m building a boat for science class. The boat must be made ONLY out of metal, so aluminum foil seems like a good choice. The boat must be relatively small, and hold 5 packs of 10 pennys (50 total).
Normally, this would be easy. BUT in order to get an A, the boat must weigh ONLY 1 to 6 grams!
I was thinking of making an air pocket in the bottom, but I need more ideas.

In the baking section of most grocery stores, they have little loaf baking tins made of aluminum foil. Try one of those and see if it will float with all those pennies in it.
If you fold the foil to a corrugated sheet, it is probably much stronger, but I am not sure if it will still float. But worth the try. . . !
If you do not know what corrugated means (sorry if I underestimate you!), here is a picture:

Good luck.
